Uplevel

Real estate email marketing that ends with people to call.

Send a broadcast, put a newsletter on the calendar or start a drip, in designs that carry your brand. The contacts who open, click and reply rise to the top of Hot Leads, ready for a call.

Three ways to send, each for one job.

Every email goes to the contacts and smart lists you already keep in Uplevel, so there’s nothing to export and no list to upload before you send.

  1. Broadcasts

    Send something once.

A just listed, an open house or a market update, to the lists and people you pick. Send it now or schedule it, and see it on the marketing calendar.

For example: Just listed: 4 bd in Ballard

  2. Programs

    Put email on a calendar.

Subscribe someone once and they get each email on its real date, year after year. Every date has its own email.

For example: Holiday Greetings, six dates a year

  3. Automations

    React to what someone does.

A welcome series when a lead signs up, a nurture sequence after a showing. One automation: trigger, send, wait, send.

For example: Welcome new lead, then day 3 and day 7

    How automations work

Text message broadcasts have their own home, covered on Calls and texting. Just Listed and Just Sold emails for each listing, and listing alerts for buyers, are on Listing marketing.

A newsletter for the whole year, set up once.

A Program is a set of dates, each with its own email. Subscribe a contact once and they get every one on its real date. Start from one of these three and change anything, or build your own.

Each email is ready five days before its date. Hold it for your review, or let it send on its own at 9:00 AM in your time zone.

Dates and who gets them

  • Dates can be fixed, follow a holiday like Thanksgiving, or repeat weekly, monthly or quarterly
  • A date can move to the next business day when it lands on a weekend or holiday
  • Smart lists are checked again at every send, so new matches get the next email
  • People you subscribe directly stay until they unsubscribe
  • An unsubscribe always wins, even while a list still matches

Real estate email templates that look like you.

Your brand, already applied
Your logo, colors and fonts from your brand kit fill every design, and Programs start from the brandings you set as defaults.
Your photo on every agent’s email
The Agent photo block shows the sender’s headshot. One shared template fits the whole team, and the photo is left out for anyone without one.
Blocks you reuse
Save an office footer or a bio row once and drop it into any template or broadcast in the workspace.
Listings in the email
Property cards pull a listing’s photo, price and details into the design.
No blank greetings
Each merge tag has a fallback, so “Hi {{first_name|there}}” never sends as “Hi ,”. A plain-text version is made for you.

Copy in your voice, ready for your edits.

Describe the email and Write with AI drafts the subject, preview text and message in the brand voice you set. Select any sentence and Jan can improve it, shorten it, expand it or change its tone, right in the editor.

Every draft is yours to change, and nothing sends until you send it. How your brand voice works

Every reply, click and unsubscribe gets handled.

What people do with your email changes what happens next, without you sorting through bounce reports or unsubscribe lists.

Contacts choose what they hear about on their preferences page: Newsletter, Property alerts, Market updates, Promotions, Check-in, and each Program you run. Every marketing email carries an unsubscribe link and your mailing address.

  1. Replied

    To your from address

    Moves up

Counts more toward their lead score than anything else an email gets back. With Gmail connected, the reply lands in their Inbox thread.

  2. Clicked a link

The listing, the video, the button

    Moves up

Counts toward their lead score, and the broadcast shows who clicked each link.

  3. Opened

    Where tracking can tell

    Moves up

Counts a little. Privacy features make opens a rough signal, so they never outweigh a click or a reply.

  4. Unsubscribed from a topic

    Newsletter, Promotions, a Program

Doesn’t move them up Hot Leads

That topic stops. The others they still want keep coming.

  5. Unsubscribed from everything

From the footer or the preferences page

Doesn’t move them up Hot Leads

Every marketing email stops, and so do the personal emails your automations send.

  6. Marked it as spam, or it bounced

A complaint or a hard bounce

Doesn’t move them up Hot Leads

The address is suppressed, and on your own SendGrid or Postmark account too.

  7. Stopped engaging

The least engaged, at one provider

Doesn’t move them up Hot Leads

If a provider starts filtering your mail, an admin can pause marketing to its least engaged contacts. A click or a reply ends the pause on its own.

Then call the people paying attention.

Hot Leads ranks every contact by lead score, 0 to 100, with the reasons on the row: emails clicked, replies, showings booked, listings viewed. Call or email them from the same row.

It’s the same score that’s on every contact record, so a broadcast that lands well shows up where your team already works.

How the lead score works

Deliverability you can see, provider by provider.

The deliverability page shows how your email is doing over any range up to 90 days, broken out by the mailbox providers your contacts use, against your own usual open rate.

When something changes, it says what it thinks is wrong and how sure it is, from spam complaints to bounces to a provider filtering your mail.

Mailbox providers

  • Gmail
  • Google Workspace
  • Outlook / Microsoft 365
  • Yahoo
  • iCloud
  • AOL / Verizon
  • Other / self-hosted

Opens are a rough signal, because privacy features and scanners open mail too. None of these numbers says whether a message reached the inbox or the spam folder.

Send from your own domain when you’re ready.

Start sending the day you sign up, then move to your own domain. Uplevel shows the DNS records to publish, checks them for you, and warns you when your domain’s DMARC policy leaves it open to spoofing.

Uplevel shared sending
Works the day you start, with nothing to set up. Email goes out from Uplevel’s authenticated domain, and replies come to your address.
Your domain via Uplevel
Add your domain, publish the DNS records we show you, and email goes out from your own address with your SPF and DKIM, and your domain on tracked links.
Your own SendGrid, Postmark or Amazon SES
Connect the account you already use and Uplevel sends through it. Your from address must be on a domain that account has authenticated.

Ask Jan to write it, schedule it or read the results.

Jan, the assistant built into Uplevel, works with your broadcasts, Programs and email health. Anything that sends waits on a card for you to confirm. More about Jan

“Draft a newsletter about spring prices for my Ballard buyers list.”
Writes the subject, preview text and email in your brand voice as a draft broadcast. Nothing sends until you approve the audience and time on a card.
“Set up Holiday Greetings for my past clients.”
Creates the Program with its six dates and your list as the audience, and asks before turning it on.
“Which broadcast this month got the most clicks?”
Compares your broadcasts by recipients, opens, clicks and bounces.
“Who clicked the video in Tuesday’s newsletter?”
Lists the contacts who clicked that link, by name.
“Is our email doing OK at Gmail?”
Reads your email health by provider, says what changed and how sure it is, and checks your sending domain’s DMARC.

1,000 emails a month, included.

Email marketing is part of the plan. Each month includes 1,000 marketing emails, and each one after that costs $0.002, billed with your monthly usage.

Questions agents ask.

Something we didn’t cover? Write to hello@uplevelre.com.

What’s the difference between a broadcast and a Program?

A broadcast sends one email once, now or at a time you pick. A Program is a set of dates, each with its own email, that a contact subscribes to once and keeps receiving, like a monthly newsletter or holiday greetings.

How many emails can I send?

Each month includes 1,000 marketing emails. After that each one costs $0.002, billed with your monthly usage on monthly and yearly plans alike.

Can I send from my own domain?

Yes. Start on Uplevel’s shared sending, then add your domain and publish the DNS records shown, or connect your own SendGrid, Postmark or Amazon SES account.

Do drip campaigns live here too?

Drips and welcome series are automations: a trigger, then emails with waits between them. You start them from templates, and the broadcast composer links the ones made for marketing.

What happens when someone unsubscribes?

They choose which topics to leave on their preferences page, or leave everything. Uplevel checks their choice before every send, including Programs and automations, and a list they still match can never add them back.

Can I send text message broadcasts?

Yes, from their own home in Marketing, with compliance checks on every audience. They’re covered on the Calls and texting page.

Send it once. Know who to call.

Apply for early access, start a Program from a starter and see who responds.
